Intern Spotlight: Destiny Diaz

Wild Basin

"She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future"

Proverbs 31:25

Wild Basin is excited to host a work study intern through a partnership between St. Edward's University and San Juan Diego High School. Destiny Diaz Arazate is a junior at San Juan Diego Catholic High School and plans to study marine biology in college. It is no surprise then her favorite subjects are biology and environmental systems and her travel bucket list includes Palau, Beqa Island in Figi, and Visayas in the The Philippines. When she's not busy with school activities, Destiny enjoys reading, listening to music, and playing sports. She loves to be outdoors because she gets to see the true beauty in the world. During her time at Wild Basin, Destiny will assist staff with trail management, social media, and special projects.
