Intern Spotlight: Emily Vasquez

Through the partnership between San Juan Diego Catholic High School and St. Edward’s University, Wild Basin is excited to welcome Emily as a student intern. Going into her junior year, Emily is excited to explore her passion for the environment while sharpening her communication skills. She has planned to study psychology and incorporate the outdoors and art into her profession. Emily has past experience with camping and working at a summer camp, where she was able to teach and guide youth throughout the week. In her downtime, Emily thoroughly enjoys hiking, listening to and playing music, making paintings, and archery. During her time at Wild Basin, Emily will be aiding the staff in trail maintenance, guided hikes, and social media.
