Wild Basin is excited to welcome our Fall 2017 Artist in Residence Heidi Miller Lowell! Heidi grew up on 5 acres of land beneath Pikes Peak in Colorado where she developed a love for hiking, national parks, and travel. Later on as an art teacher for 9 years, Heidi realized that not all children were fortunate to have the outdoor experiences she had growing up in Colorado. During her residency, Heidi aims to celebrate the flora and fauna at Wild Basin through watercolors, bringing attention to the importance of caring for our wild spaces. Heidi will be at Wild Basin every Friday, between 9am - 4pm, starting with a morning hike. Come by and meet Heidi!
