Intern spotlight: Yajaira Vilchis

Wild Basin

Updated: Jan 3, 2020

Yajaira Vilchis is a freshman at San Juan Diego Catholic High School. During her time at Wild Basin she will be doing outdoor projects, trail patrol, and helping with school tours. She chose this job because she has a passion for nature and animals and her favorite subject is biology. When she graduates high school, Yajaira plans to visit many places in Mexico, and then go college to study to be a veterinarian because she loves animals so much that she wants to save as many animals she can. In her spare time she likes playing soccer, listening to music, watching movies or studying, and loves to go outside at night and lay-down to watch the stars because it helps her de-stress. Facts about her that she is a twin, loves doing sports and never gives up.
