Narda Salinas

Wild Basin

St. Edward's University student, Narda Salinas, talks about exploring the history and ecology of an old restored dump site at Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve in Austin, TX. Narda's research project began with a simple question, "I-Wonder what were the effects of a restoration project on an old dump site?" Our new series "I-Wonder", highlights students like Narda who are conducting research here at Wild Basin. In this video created by Topper TV, Narda explains the process of how she uncovered the answers using scientific methods from field ecology.
